Assign ISRC Online

Obtain an ISRC through our online transaction. A good option for self-releasing artists and creators who wish to ensure the ISRC and recording data is retained and accessible in our database.

• You register an account on our site and pay the fee
• You supply your recording’s metadata
• We assign the ISRC and provide it to you
• We register your recording’s data into the International ISRC Database
• If we find your recording already has an ISRC within our dataset we will inform you of the existing ISRC

You can choose to register to assign ISRC online. When you register, you pay a fee of £15 plus UK VAT where applicable to obtain 30 credits in our system. Use your credits to check the recording details and assign ISRC

• Assigning an ISRC costs 3 credits: 1 credit for the lookup step and 2 credits for the assignment step
• If the lookup check finds the recording already has an ISRC it will inform you at the cost of one credit and you will not proceed to the assignment step
• You can top up your credits when you need to
